Pruning

Many plants such as azaleas, forsythia, holly bushes and rhododendrons, will rapidly fill out with new growth after a season or so even if you prune them down almost to their stumps. But yews and junipers will not grow new leaves on old wood. Pruning them back severely will cause you problems. If they are too big and bushy, it is best to replace them entirely.
Deer Control

Lyme disease is a big problem in Connecticut and it is a good idea to keep deer out of your yard to reduce your risk and that of your family. If deer are a problem in your area, TG Landscaping can plant deer-resistent perennials, such as Autumn Joy sedum to keep the deer out of your yard.
